Ok, so here is my latest blog post, a bit over a week from my last, however, still within the one post a week time frame. anyway, moving on, i'm procrastinating, slowly doing my uni work, but rather than type the few hundred words in one go i am simply avoiding it as much as possible, hence the blog, oh and regards to the download review part 2? ill do it when i'm less tired.
onto lighter notes: my week as been ok, well the same as ever tbf. only a little over 3 weeks left till Easter holidays, which will bring about munch's birthday celebrations, on the 23rd of April me munch and Ed, plus munch's family are going to the haydock horse races as he gets free tickets for his granddads race (not quite sure how it works but im not complaining). after that much drinking will happen to celebrate munch's becoming 'an adult' ha.
other than that i've not got much else to post at this time. so i will leave you with a link to a website i'm a part of (though i've not posted for a while) check it out:

Returning
Well, it has been a while since I last posted, and contrary to a previous post it has not been due to the lack of internet. No, it has been out of sheer forgetfulness that I have not posted in this blog, well forgetfulness and lack of motivation to do so.
I have however decided that I will try to post at least one new post a week. so here goes, the first of hopefully many:
I have been in the 'new' house for 7 months now, the house is nice, rooms are big and until recently we had hardly any neighbours. since before we moved in one of the houses next to us which would normally be classed as neighbours has remained empty, the only noise which could be heard was the odd bit of re-decorating, on the other side we mainly had neighbours but we went through a nice period of no one on either side, which meant loud music could be played at all hours and we didn't have to worry about anyone being disturbed by our loudness. Well that has changed now and we have neighbours on all fronts, so now our noise is in consideration.
With it being march I am due to finish university soon, all of my module labs / lectures will be finished by Easter and after that will only be a few tests, then it will all be over, what an experience! Oddly I find myself looking foreword to getting a job and having a normal job with a regular income.
Finally, as I am slowly getting into the festival mode I will, drum roll please, review Download 2010!!!!! Yes I know a fair few months late but better that then never.
Download for me kicked of on Monday the 7th of June, I, accompanied by Munch & Ed went shopping for any supplied we would be needing, after that we popped back to my parents house so I could collect my tent and make sure it still worked, after a fair well to my Mum & Step dad we returned to my house in Leicester,, via Munch's and then Ed's houses, respectfully. After lots of drinking, packing organising Wednesday came about. unfortunately We lost Munch to the hospital due to an unknown illness, which, to mine and Ed's disappointment meant he would not make the Festival.
At 6am (yes it does exist) we all (Me, Ed, wild, Sam & Stev) awoke and proceeded to come to grips with the world after our previous night drinking. the weather mirrored our feelings, it was raining. undeterred we packed up the last of our items and departed in two cars to Download festival 2010. we proceeded to que for a good couple of hours, until finally the gates were opened and we all squeezed through them to receive our wristbands. once we all regrouped in the other side we headed to the camp-site, our destination would be camp-site designated as 'Blue'. we got to the camp, our early rising and arrival had been worth it, we pretty much had the pick of the land on where we wanted to pitch our tents. our location decided we all set up our tents and our tent circle (ish) was born. latter on we would be joined by more peoples and friends.
And that's all for today, tune in again soon for the second part of my Download festival 2010 review.
I will leave you with the picture from the festival:

Peace.

turning old...
I'll admit, i have neglected this blog for a while now, out of, well sheer procrastination. but now, i have decided it needs some attention. so here it is. dont expect anything too fantastic.
So this week i turned old (20 to be exacting) and in fairness dont feel overly different. the week however was amazing. I started my birthday celebration on the sunday before my birthday. The drinking started at The Phantom where pints were cheep and my glass was never empty (thanks guys). me and the rest of the drunkards proceeded to head to vice ( i know, don't judge me). anyway i got increasingly drunk, which, inevitably lead to me passing out on my mates sofa. from this experience i have learnt (and i had to be told this) that i sing in my passed out state to songs which are playing in the background)
i awoke on monday and minus a hangover left loughborough. Monday night reflected the day in the fact that it was fairly dull. the evening came and slowly bled into tuesday, which was, inevitably, my birthday. i opened my cards, gathered my stuff and left for Barrow city. Here i met Ed ampersand Munch., got changed and proceed to the Navvy. From here we departed for the train station and leicester.
upon arriving in leicester, land of students, we walked to the pub, where, amazingly and surprisingly alcohol was consumed. The pub closed and we found ourselves in the club, via a wall which we all climbed and jumped off (this seemed logical being dunk and all), apart from Hammond, who decided he didn't want to land and instead fractured his heel. the club was fun, but not overly busy so we headed to another acquaintances and played some rock band on the sexbox 360. after some time we got bored of playing on plastic guitars and so left for the bus stop, where we missed the bus. so, again in a drunk state of mind, we decided to walk back. eventually, via legs tyres, paths, A roads and fields we arrived back in Barrow City, found our tents and passed out. Munch ampersand I awoke early so watched some films until Ed could be awoken. I eventually left for the land of students and chilled with some friends. thursday was largely uneventful as was friday day. Friday night came and so to Echos i went where i proceed to dj for a short period and the get intoxicated. again, i passed out on my friends sofa and woke up some hours later. Once again i headed to Leicester, and met more friends. we headed to Beede park where we chilled and talked and i met someone new, who seems kool. Finally my eyes got heavy so i decided to drive home. which brings me to today and this blog.
see i told you it wouldn't be fantastic, it was however, Awesome.
I wish you all a good night or day (depending on when you read this), which leads nicely into a quote i shall leave you with :

more musings
i find myself, again, sat in front of my computer at midnight, doing nothing, this time with a marathon (or snickers for you youngsters) in one hand, keyboard below the other, a glass of water cooling on the window sill and behind blue eyes playing in the background (the original of course) and i find myself in a weird state of stillness, it may be the chocolate or something in the water, but none the less, i feel contempt.

sleep...
just a quick post, something which always fascinates me. Why is it that despite being tired and the lack of anything productive to do we keep ourselves awake?? has it truly gotten to the point where my generation is addicted to the internet? like an ever flowing information giving drug? well I know I'm hooked.
